Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services seeks a Maintenance Technician in Albion, IN. The role focuses on rigging, moving and erecting machine tools, troubleshooting and training others to strengthen the team.

The position is on the 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM) with a pay rate of $32.75 per hour. Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical installation, safety compliance, and working with a safety director to meet OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree or maintenance certification (or in progress).
• 2–5 years in a maintenance-related field.
• Able to operate mobile/mechanical equipment per OSHA.
• Forklift certification obtained or in process.
• Able to reach, lift 40–70 lbs and work at heights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and logic systems.
• Fabrication and welding of metal structures.
• Secure, level, align and connect during installations.
• Develop diagrams as work progresses when blueprints are unavailable.
• Use power tools, bench tools and carpentry as needed.
• Work with safety director to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform machine repairs and maintain quality and safety.
• Install and maintain plant electrical systems for power and lighting.
• Install and wire control panels and distribution centers.
• Diagnose and repair electrical troubles and balance loads.
• Make emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
