Job summary

Teel Plastics is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the plant on a 7pm-7am rotating schedule, including every other weekend. The role emphasizes preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance to keep extrusion equipment running efficiently at multiple plants in Wisconsin.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of industrial controls, and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication and CMMS/MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; journey worker certificate preferred.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment; extruded plastics preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial controls and mechanical systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation for frequent plant trips.
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing; extruded plastics preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to use MS Office and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Conducts preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Performs scheduled project maintenance to repair or rebuild equipment.
• Performs reactive maintenance to repair unexpected breakdowns.
• Inputs data into CMMS accurately.
• Maintains housekeeping, safety and environmental standards.
• Performs additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
