Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift in Reidsville, NC. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, electrical and control systems, and supporting utilities to maximize uptime and product quality.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and experience with PLCs. This full‑time position includes a night schedule (6pm–6am) and the ability to lift 50 lbs in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and automated equipment (Allen‑Bradley preferred).
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus.
Knowledge of wet wipe or paper converting equipment is highly desirable.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a fast‑paced production environment.
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, control systems, and utilities.
Perform preventive maintenance on motors, gearboxes, sensors, and PLC‑controlled equipment.
Diagnose issues with web handling systems, tension controls, cutting assemblies, and dosing systems.
Maintain building systems including HVAC, compressed air, and electrical distribution.
Document maintenance activities in CMMS and support equipment changeovers and line startups.
Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Follow safety, GMP, and sanitation guidelines in a hygiene‑product environment.
