Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 10pm-6:30am) in Morrisville, NC. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production lines to minimize downtime.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, utilize SAP PM, and train operators on maintenance tasks. Starting pay is $32.31/hr with a $1.20 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience with packaging equipment strongly preferred.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
• Welding and Fabrication skills are a plus.
• Capable of operating hand, power, and specialized tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Email).
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of SAP PM preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in daily shift meetings to discuss prioritized work orders and minimizing downtime.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance of Manufacturing, Packaging, and Facilities Equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
• Maintain mechanical and electrical systems, plumbing, process equipment, and utility equipment.
• Participate in root cause failure analysis teams and continuous improvement activities.
• Coach Operators on setup, troubleshooting and operating adjustments of equipment.
• Train Operators on execution of Operator-based maintenance tasks and PMs.
• Use SAP to pull weekly work schedule, evaluate work orders, and escalate as needed.
• Install or replace machine parts and attachments per production specs; manage inventories via SAP and Work Orders.
• Lubricate machines and parts; keep work areas safe and orderly.
