Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the West Memphis area. The role oversees the night shift, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with weekend work and potential holiday coverage.

You will lead maintenance technicians, drive reliability improvements, organize repairs, and collaborate with Production, Quality and Safety teams to ensure safe, compliant operations and minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of relevant maintenance experience.
• At least two years of post-secondary education beyond high school.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, control networks, electrical systems, hydraulics and equipment.
• Ability to organize workloads and communicate priorities across departments.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and manage project schedules and expenses.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, coaching, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work the stated overnight rotation, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians, assign work orders and set safety/quality expectations.
• Coordinate urgent repairs and keep planned maintenance on schedule.
• Plan upcoming work around production needs and technician availability.
• Investigate recurring failures and implement corrective actions via root cause analysis.
• Develop technicians through coaching and safety training.
• Track maintenance performance and uptime to reduce downtime.
• Support spare parts and storeroom practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Safety teams for reliable operations.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors while following site safety procedures.
• Manage small maintenance and capital projects, including scheduling and cost tracking.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and support quality standards.
