Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Hallstead, PA, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

The role requires an Associate’s degree and 3–5 years of related experience; the position offers 2B shift Tue–Fri 5:30p–3:30a with a base rate of $29.55/hr plus a $1/hr shift diff and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in mechanical or electrical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Experience with DC-specific software and equipment.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Strong safety awareness and LOTO knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards; follow PM procedures and document work.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including conveyors and PLCs.
• Report spare parts usage to maintenance leadership to manage inventory.
• Train junior technicians to improve performance and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaborate with external vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Perform other duties to support DC operations.
