Job summary

Danone North America is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for Minster, OH, to service and repair packaging lines in a climate-controlled facility. You will work on state-of-the-art equipment and have opportunities to advance toward a State Certified Journeyman Mechanic path with shift premium benefits.

The role requires experience with electrical, robotic, and mechanical systems, plus strong safety discipline and the ability to communicate across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High school diploma or GED.
• Advanced Education or licenses in robotics/automation preferred.
• Recertification is an essential requirement.

Responsibilities

• Communicate service actions and equipment issues with operators and departments.
• Follow safety protocols and utilize safety documents.
• Perform CILT checks on production lines to ensure proper function.
• Prevent safety hazards and service requests via supervision and checks.
• Diagnose equipment failures by asking questions and gathering data.
• Monitor multiple production lines or utilities systems.
• Evaluate, test and maintain electrical wiring.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Assemble/disassemble machinery as needed for repairs.
• Install specialized equipment or parts for repairs.
• Receive daily production status reports and work orders.
• Document resolutions for future reference.
