Job summary

Danone North America in Minster, OH is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to service packaging lines in a climate-controlled facility. The role includes night shifts on a 3-2-2 schedule and opportunities to advance to a State Certified Journeyman Mechanic with higher pay and shift premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced robotics/automation education preferred.
• Experience with multi-craft industrial repair (electrical, robotic) is a plus.
• Dairy processing environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate service actions and equipment issues with operators and maintenance staff.
• Perform CILT quality checks on production lines to ensure proper function.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment and assemble/disassemble machinery as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain daily equipment documentation.
• Operate industrial trucks for moving defective machinery as required.
