Job summary
Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) at our Grand Island, NY plant. You will maintain manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems, including steam boilers, HVAC, and Water for Injection, ensuring validated state and compliance with cGMP, OSHA and EPA.
The role also involves implementing efficiency-improving projects, supporting capital improvements, building vendor relationships, and upholding Health, Safety, Environment, Energy,
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and 1–2 years related experience.
- Working knowledge of power transfer technology including mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Familiarity with machine controls including PLCs, relay logic, and operator interfaces.
- Familiar with plant utility systems including HVAC, steam systems and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Maintain manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems (steam boilers, HVAC, Water for Injection).
- Implement improvements to increase efficiency and prevent obsolescence.
- Ensure validated state of equipment, systems and facilities and compliance with cGMP, OSHA, EPA and local regulations.
- Develop relationships with key vendors for technical support and hardware applications.
