Job summary

Versatex is seeking a working supervisor to lead the night shift crew of 4. This hands-on role requires training the maintenance team, enforcing safety, and ensuring timely, quality repairs across the facility.

The successful candidate will approve timecards, monitor attendance, manage parts inventory, and report daily to the Maintenance Supervisor. A strong focus on adherence to SOPs and problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in electrical maintenance or 5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Must be able to lead and train a maintenance team.
• Forklift certification and ability to move items independently.
• Proficiency with computers to log, order and inventory parts.

Responsibilities

• Approve weekly timecards for the crew in UKG.
• Track vacations and attendance.
• Maintain equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks across equipment.
• Follow Versatex SOPs and best practices.
• Respond to breakdowns and solve maintenance issues.
• Oversee PM performance and inventory of spare parts.
• Train and direct the maintenance team; conduct yearly reviews.
• Report daily to Maintenance Supervisor with issues and safety notes.
• Maintain shift reports and site inventory records.
