Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts in Lake Geneva, WI, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to guest and associate requests, and serve as principal engineer for preventative maintenance in guest rooms.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or trade school, and the ability to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends. You will report to the Chief Engineer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Trade School required.
• 1–2 years of related maintenance experience requested.
• Must be energetic, positive, creative and a self-starter.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay detail-oriented.
• Need flexibility to work varied schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Respond to general maintenance requests from guests and associates in a timely manner.
• Serve as principal engineer for preventative maintenance in guest rooms.
• Perform light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Remain safety oriented and wear required PPE as needed.
• Help with special projects and respond calmly during heavy hotel activity and emergencies.
