Job summary

The Hiring Group seeks an Electrical/Automation Engineering professional to support maintenance teams in a large manufacturing setting. The role focuses on training maintenance electricians, troubleshooting, and identifying machine reliability improvements.

Work is night shift with alternating weekends. This LTC role initial 1-year term may extend; potential path to day-shift full-time roles; no sponsorship for US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• 2–4 years of current engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming standards & programming software, including GRAFCET, Ladder Logic, and Structured Text.
• Experience with VFDs and motion control technologies equipment; specific experience with Control Techniques, SEW MOVIMOT, and Rockwell is a plus.
• Experience with controls systems network interfaces and various protocols (e.g., Data-Highway Plus, ControlNet, Ethernet).
• Experience with electrical design standards and ability to complete controls system designs using CAD tools; AutoCAD Electrical is a plus, SEE electrical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement the direction of the maintenance leadership team on shift.
• Provide troubleshooting support to on-shift maintenance craftspeople and production supervision.
• Interface with internal company support groups to accomplish objectives and provide contract engineering management and direction when needed.
