Job summary

Madix, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to support the assembly floor with a range of machining tasks including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, molding and bench work.

You will detect defects, maintain a clean work area and follow safety regulations while assisting with machine setups as needed. The role requires a high school diploma/GED and roughly one year of factory experience, plus training in safety and quality systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience.
• Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate typical machine shop and mold press operations to support the assembly floor.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, safe condition and follow safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per PM charts.
• Be willing to receive frequent supervision with regard to machine set-up.
