Job summary

ROCKWOOL is hiring a Machine Technician for the Kearneysville, WV area. The role operates and maintains production equipment to support safe, efficient stone wool insulation manufacturing. You will troubleshoot and perform basic preventive maintenance while upholding ROCKWOOL safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, strong mechanical skills, and proficiency with MS Office. A shift-based schedule and competitive pay with benefits reflect ROCKWOOL’s commitment to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, aggregate, or industrial setting with automated equipment.
• Machine operating experience including cleaning, calibration, basic maintenance.
• Mechanical mindset and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to work around high-heat industrial equipment.
• Proficient MS Office skills.
• Interest in training to become a Key Technician as opportunities arise.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently manufacture quality Stone Insulation to meet production plans.
• Make product changes to maintain flow and quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and serve as first line for process issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production line in your area.
• Perform quality tests using lab equipment.
• Adhere to quality and environmental standards.
