Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience using micrometers and calipers.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate thread rolling and heading machines.
• Select the correct dies for each job.
• Perform die changes and tooling adjustments.
• Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues with engineering or maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain quality standards.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.
