Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a Machine Operator for the night shift, based in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting production machinery, inspecting parts, and adjusting tooling to meet specs.

You will read blueprints and diagrams, follow procedures, and maintain quality with timely production. The role offers $18.50/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Machine Operator is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of Production Procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to Read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines following established procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to position and secure machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specifications and timelines.
• Perform pre-operation activities for proper startup on multiple machines.
• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment to ensure quality output.
• Communicate with the team to maintain continuous production at high quality.
• Complete daily production, quality, and safety inspections documentation.
