Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Machine Operator to oversee day-to-day operations in Paragould, Arkansas. The position requires monitoring and maintaining product quality while operating machinery in a safe environment. Candidates should have mechanical skills and previous experience is preferred.

Shifts are 12-hour rotations from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, including required weekend shifts. Benefits include a yearly boot allowance, medical and dental insurance, and a 6% 401K company contribution.

Qualifications

• Strongly prefer candidates with mechanical ability or previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to stand up to 12 hours per day.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test.

Overview

The machine operator is responsible for the day‑to‑day duties in running equipment to produce quality product, safely and on‑time. The working schedule will be 12‑hour rotating shifts from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am with every other weekend scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards, including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as working in a safe manner at all times following all safety policies and procedures. Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment. Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders is also required.
• Additional responsibilities include maintaining and logging all information required supporting traceability and quality, participating in cross‑training activities, maintaining work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and performing other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot.
• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test including medical marijuana.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
