Job summary

UPMC Altoona is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the T11 Trauma unit on night shifts. This 0.9 FTE, 36-hour weekly position includes a night program with differential and a generous sign-on bonus. Requires PA LPN license, CPR/BLS, and orientation completion.

The role offers night differential pay, weekend/holiday rotation, and opportunities to grow within a supportive team on a high-acuity unit serving orthopedic, trauma, and neurological patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold a temporary permit or valid PA LPN license.
• CPR/BLS certification required; CPR within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for meals and nourishment; assist with feeding and hydration.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility; transport and positioning as directed.
• Observe and document patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
