Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Current LPN license in the state of employment.
• Additional department education or experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in determining nursing care needs based on data collection and interpretation.
• Recognizes need for immediate intervention and acts accordingly.
• Documents observations, treatments, and patient responses; participates in discharge planning.
• Assists with development and revision of the plan of care under RN supervision.
• Communicates patient status changes to the clinical staff promptly.
