Job summary

You will administer medications, monitor patient conditions, support pain management, assist with treatments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care. The role emphasizes accurate medication administration and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license.
• BLS Certification required.
• Intravenous Therapy and Blood Certifications preferred.
• ACLS may be required in certain care areas.
• Minimum six months’ prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within the scope of licensure under RN supervision.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as prescribed.
• Notifies RN of patient changes, symptoms, or reactions.
• Assists with pain management and patient/family education.
• Supports plan of care and treatment updates with the team.
• Interacts professionally with patient/family and staff to ensure safety and quality care.
