Job summary

Rockledge Health & Rehab Center in Rockledge, FL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role requires Florida LPN licensure, current CPR, and at least one year of skilled nursing experience, with overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Florida LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of skilled nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document resident progress in the medical record.
• Monitor turning and positioning of residents.
• Obtain changes in physician orders as progress dictates.
• Communicate resident status to charge nurses and the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment cart and restock supplies.
• Follow Infection Control policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document pressure sore status weekly.
• Monitor inventory of meds and supplies.
• Educate residents and families about skin care on discharge.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities.
