Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Currently holds an LPN license with state nursing board; multi-state licensure may apply.
• CEU/compliance requirements and department competencies must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents per care plan.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Communicate with residents, families and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
