Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Good Samaritan provides nursing care to residents in long-term care under supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Demonstrates nursing principles and proper documentation of care, medications, and resident status to ensure health, safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited LPN program with an active license, able to work night shifts, and capable of collaborating within an interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current unencumbered LPN license in state nursing board.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for long-term care residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
