Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our PRN night shift team from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The facility provides long-term and rehabilitative care and offers competitive compensation with shift differentials and a solid benefits package. As an LPN, you will participate in directing patient care, administer medications, receive and implement physician orders, and help ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
• Previous skilled nursing experience
• Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Directs/delivers patient care in accordance with facility systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders
• Implements and evaluates care plans
• Monitors infection control compliance
• Organizes/subordinates and time management
• Evaluates staff performance and provides training or actions as needed
