Job summary

Discovery Management Group is seeking an LPN to join our team for a part-time night shift (11pm–7am). The role focuses on delivering nursing care per the client’s plan, monitoring health status, and coordinating services across the senior living community.

Located in Dover, Delaware, the position emphasizes ongoing health promotion, psychosocial evaluation, and adherence to all regulations, with opportunities for advancement and a supportive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Two years LPN experience required.
• Two years experience in assisted living or in a nursing home.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
• Ability to ensure community follows all federal, state and local laws and regulations as pertains to resident services and care.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
• A dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential.
• The ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the client’s plan of care, including evaluation and monitoring of health status.
• Coordinate health services and promote health and prevention efforts.
• Monitor and document client condition and responses to treatment.
