Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Night Shift, PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Medical Surgical team on the 2nd Floor in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision and support a high-quality patient experience.

The role requires graduation from a practical nursing program, an NM license (or multi-state compact within 90 days), and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a practical nursing program.
• Valid NM nursing license or valid multi-state compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• The LPN under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.
• Performs general nursing tasks.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
