Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med Surg unit in Lewiston, Maine. This position offers night shifts and a 12-week assignment with competitive weekly pay ranging from $1,680 to $2,100 gross.
The ideal candidate will hold an LPN/LVN license, have an IV certification and BW credentials, and a current BLS. Experience in med-surg and a commitment to patient safety are essential for success on our partner hospitals.
Qualifications
- LPN Med Surg experience required.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal certification required.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
- Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
- Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
- Support care plans and patient throughput.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
- Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
