Confidential is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Med-Surg in Lewiston, Maine, on night shift. The 12-week assignment requires an active LPN/LVN license, IV/BW certifications, and a current BLS card, with at least one year of Med-Surg experience.

Responsibilities include bedside care, vitals, and care coordination with the team. Position involves collaboration with RNs and physicians, documentation in EMR/EHR, and strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year of LPN Med Surg experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
