Job summary

Vista Specialty Hospital in West Monroe, LA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Graduate of an accredited LPN program with a current LPN license in Louisiana and BLS; ACLS preferred. One year of acute care experience is preferred but not required for all shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for licensed practical nurses.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN License issued in the state of facility location. BLS required. ACLS preferred.
• Minimum one year’s prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Perform nursing services designed to promote and maintain health, prevent illness and injury, under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
