Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME, is hiring an LPN/LVN for Med-Surg. This full-time night shift (7p–7a, 12-hour shifts) offers pay from $27.00 to $30.75 per hour and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include bedside care, monitoring, meds, and documentation in EMR/EHR. Requirements include LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications within 90 days, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• LPN/LVN license required.
• IV certification and BW certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification at start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg unit.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
