Legend Senior Living in Gainesville, FL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. You will support clinical services including resident medication management, service planning, and supervising nursing staff, ensuring residents receive excellent direct care.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, verifying medications and orders, conducting assessments, assisting with move-ins/outs, and providing direct care during emergencies or on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state.
• Prefer: 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefer: supervisory experience, preferably in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders.
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed.
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation.
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager.
