Legend Senior Living in Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the nursing team. You will support clinical services including resident medication management, service planning, and supervising nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.

This role may require evenings and weekends, with on-call duties and opportunities for bonuses. A current LPN license and CPR certification are required, and prior supervisory experience in senior living is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN nursing license and CPR certification as required by the state.
• Prefer: 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefer: supervisory experience in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying the proper distribution and required documentation of medication, treatments and orders.
• Participating in regular resident assessments and service planning, and following up with ancillary health care services as needed.
• Assisting with the move-in and move-out process including tours, orientation, evaluations, and family communications.
• Providing direct care when needed, such as during health emergencies or during on-call rotation.
• Relaying resident concerns or changes to the appropriate department manager.
