Job summary

The Pavilion at Edgefield for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Canton, OH is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift (7p-7a). The role involves direct nursing care, supervising CNAs, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Applicants should hold an LPN license, CPR certification, and preferably experience in long-term care; IV certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted LPN license in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• IV certification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities of certified nursing assistants per policies.
• Promotes holistic care and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers as required.
• Monitors changes in residents’ status and notifies physician/family.
• Transcribes orders, administers medications and observes effects.
• Performs wound treatments and documents observations.
