Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time night shifts at Johnson County facilities in New Century and Olathe, KS. The LPN delivers quality care within the state’s nursing act and reports to the supervising clinician.

A night shift differential of $5 and a sign-on bonus are available. Eligible candidates must hold an LPN license in Kansas, current BLS, and completion of an approved LPN program.

Qualifications

Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
Active BLS certification required.
Knowledge of state laws governing practice.
Completion of annual clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care within LPN scope of practice.
Monitor patients and report changes to medical staff.
Administer medications to offenders.
Document actions in MAR and medical records.
Support development of patient teaching plans.
Provide wound care and dressing changes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
