Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to assigned patients, collects data, and reassesses per unit protocol.
• Documents findings in patient records and communicates assessment results with the care team.
• Implements care interventions from the treatment plan in collaboration with other providers.
• Conducts bedside labs, wound care, and assists with ADLs.
• Promotes coping and adaptation for illness and stressors.
• Provides age-appropriate communication and addresses cultural needs.
• Administers medications safely according to orders; educates patients on meds.
• Transcribes orders accurately and performs chart audits per guidelines.
• Utilizes nursing knowledge to meet patient and facility needs.
• Guides and precepts new staff; participates in additional duties as assigned.
