Job summary

Noland Health Services is seeking a licensed practical nurse to contribute to nursing assessments, patient admissions, and the development and modification of the plan of care. Under RN supervision, administer nursing care across patients with a focus on safety and effective interventions.

The role involves implementing the care plan, documenting patient responses, and supporting discharge planning while following Alabama ABN guidelines and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed as an LPN by the State of Alabama.
• Minimum of one year experience; hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to nursing assessment by collecting, reporting, and recording data.
• Monitors and records vital signs with appropriate reporting of abnormalities.
• Documents the involvement of patient/family in the medical record.
• Assists with discharge planning and nursing procedures for patient comfort.
• Performs phlebotomy and collects laboratory specimens.
• Administers medications in accordance with policies and documents reactions.
• Assists with care procedures, patient ambulation, and equipment use.
