Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, Illinois. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice, under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical staff, to respond to a range of health needs in a correctional setting.

The position offers a night shift schedule (11 p.m. – 7 a.m.), is paid at a rate of $36.23+ per hour with additional evening, night, and weekend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clear/Active LPN license in Illinois or ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under RN and medical staff direction.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs in a correctional setting.
