Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for night shifts. Candidates must have nursing experience and Louisiana LPN licensure with current BLS certification.

Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, and communication with physicians and team members about changes in patient condition. Shift differentials are paid for night shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current Louisiana LPN Licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year's work experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
• Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's condition, including diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Education
