Job summary

Blue United Sourcing is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses for a Night Shift position in Norfolk, VA. The role supports a residential care facility for children and young adults with disabilities.

Temporary assignment with potential for longer coverage, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, onsite in Norfolk. Candidates must hold Virginia LPN credentials (or compact license), complete required nursing program and NCLEX-PN, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN license issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing or a current multistate license through the NLC.
• Successful completion of a Board-approved practical nursing program and NCLEX-PN exam.
• Clean criminal background check as part of licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Patient monitoring: measure blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
• Medication dispensing and management.
• Basic wound care.
• Data collection: interview patients, record medical histories and enter notes into EHRs.
• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• General patient support.
