Job summary

Prisma Health in Greer Memorial Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support patient care on the night shift. Under supervision of RN/Physician, you’ll follow an individualized plan, collect data, monitor status, and document responses. You’ll also support room orientation and family education.

A current LPN license is required with at least one year of experience; exceptions may be made for residency program graduates. This role is stationed at the Greer Medical Campus.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience: One year of LPN experience.
• In lieu: LPN residency program or comparable residency may be accepted.
• In lieu: LPN program equivalency recognized by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision, following individualized plan of care.
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs and lab values.
• Inform RN/Physician of patient observations and changes.
• Maintain confidential patient records and documentation.
• Administer and document medications per policy.
• Assist with patient/family instruction and room/or unit orientation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
