Job summary

Fayetteville Health and Rehabilitation in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.

You will work nights 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, administering medications, supporting rehabilitation plans, and collaborating with RNs and physicians.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong clinical skills in medication administration and wound care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document residents’ health status, including vital signs, and report changes to the supervising RN or physician.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and feeding, as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support residents’ recovery goals, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
