Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for the full-time 11:00 PM-7:00 AM night shift. Base pay ranges from $25.00 to $29.55 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the nursing team.
• Dependable, compassionate and committed to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions throughout the night shift.
• Recognize changes in condition and communicate clinical concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality resident care.
• Follow individualized resident care plans and physician orders.
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards.
