Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse (LPN) to provide frontline clinical leadership and exceptional resident care in our Skilled Nursing community in Columbia, MO. This role oversees nursing services during shifts, supervises care teams, and ensures care plans and documentation meet state and Americare standards.
The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, with strong communication, leadership, and knowledge of nursing regulations.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license
- Familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or senior living preferred
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
Responsabilités
- Oversee nursing services and clinical supervision during assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in nursing care
- Supervise nursing staff (LPNs, CNAs, CMAs)
- Complete and update resident assessments and care plans
- Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and leadership
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols
- Conduct routine rounds to address resident needs
- Document incidents and concerns and report them appropriately
- Ensure supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicated to leadership
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and safety
