Job summary

Colonial Terrace Nursing Home in Pryor, OK is seeking a Charge Nurse - LPN/LVN to participate in and oversee resident care as prescribed by the attending physician, within licensed standards and scope. You will guide subordinates and nursing aides and ensure care plans are followed, with a focus on resident safety and quality of care.

This position requires an LPN/LVN license, long‑term care experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work overnight on a Sunday–Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school with a current, valid LPN/LVN license.
• Nursing experience in a long‑term care facility is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is desirable.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Functional literacy in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and assists in resident care as prescribed by physicians.
• Observes, assesses, reports condition changes and documents findings.
• Coordinates with RN on changes in residents' conditions.
• Receives and executes physicians' orders and care plans.
• Administers medications as prescribed and supervises staff.
