Job summary

Lehigh Hanson Inc. is seeking a locomotive operator to move materials around the plant, perform routine inspections, and ensure safe rail operations. The role requires attention to safety, teamwork, and the ability to troubleshoot and service equipment as needed.

You will coordinate with the rail team, maintain records, and support efficient plant movement while adhering to safety protocols and post-offer checks where applicable.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

Physical Demands of the Job

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working on equipment.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Use of hands and fingers to handle or feel tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
