Job summary

Lumentum is seeking a Night Shift Equipment Maintenance Technician to support 24/7 manufacturing of advanced photonic and optoelectronic devices in Greensboro, NC. This role sustains lithography and vacuum-based semiconductor processing equipment used in lasers, optical components, and III‑V devices, performing hands-on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics or related field.
• 2+ years in semiconductor, photonics, or precision manufacturing.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with complex manufacturing equipment.
• Willingness to work permanent night shift including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor lithography and vacuum processing equipment performance.
• Diagnose faults, alarms, leaks and process deviations, and resolve them.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lithography and vacuum tools.
• Provide production support and detailed shift handoff documentation.
