FedEx Logistics in Indianapolis seeks a Logistics Dispatcher to support overnight Linehaul planning and equipment dispatch. You will coordinate trailers, tractors, and dollies, track movements, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), strong organizational skills, and knowledge of DOT rules. This on-site position offers overnight hours and exposure to FedEx network operations.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s preferred in Logistics/Business or related area.
• Proficiency in time management and multitasking in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Linehaul operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience with transportation software and MS Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with FedEx field operations to plan contractor and equipment needs.
• Coordinates and tracks processing and movement of trailers and equipment in the network.
• Manages Unassigned Team logistics to maximize resource use and minimize tractor dwell.
• Directs dispatch of transportation equipment per Linehaul plan.
• Ensures compliance with Linehaul dispatch and arrival rules.
