Pratt Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift (10pm-6am). You will move products between staging areas, maintain accurate location records, and support general operations. Must obtain forklift certification and be safety-minded; two years of forklift experience is preferred.

Starting at $21.34 an hour plus $0.75 shift differential.

Shift: 3rd (10pm-6am)
Job Type: Full-time
Moving various sized units and or products from various sources to the next staging area. Responsible for maintaining accurate records as to the location of the each unit moved. Responsible for performing basic equipment maintenance and general housekeeping duties. Assist general operations when needed.
Must be capable of getting forklift certified and very safety conscious.
Two years forklift operation preferred.
Experience with “scanner” or “barcode” warehouse management inventory systems preferred. Must have the ability to maintain and or identify equipment maintenance needs.
Multi-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, tape measure, and time management skills are needed.
Must be able to function in extreme temperatures and must be available for weekend work schedules.
Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
The individual must have a working knowledge of the following:
Will be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
