Job summary

BHC Alhambra Hospital in Rosemead, California, seeks a Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join the night shift team. The LPT provides nursing care under RN supervision to patients with psychiatric needs, helping implement treatment plans and monitor progress.

Responsibilities include data collection, vital signs, observation and timely communication with the Charge Nurse. This role supports inpatient behavioral health services across children, adolescents and adults.

Qualifications

• Collect data for integrated assessments and document changes in patient condition.
• Take and record vital signs accurately and consistently.
• Observe and report changes related to treatment goals and patient status.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Record signs of infection and other clinical observations promptly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect data needed for the appropriate portion of the integrated assessment.
• Take and record vital signs properly.
• Observe for, and document changes in patient’s appearance, behavior and ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
• Communicate changes in patient’s condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Report signs and symptoms of infection in resident to the Charge Nurse
