Job summary

Minnesota Direct Care and Treatment (Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shift (11pm-7:30am) to provide nursing care, medication administration, and short-term psychiatric care under RN supervision. The role includes observation, patient education, and documentation in a hospital setting.

Minimum qualifications require MN LPN licensure; NCLEX-LPN near-term completion encouraged.

Qualifications

• Eligible for licensure as a Practical Nurse in Minnesota.
• Future Practical Nurses within six months of graduating and taking NCLEX-LPN encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily nursing cares including administering and monitoring medications and treatments.
• Perform basic medical treatments per medical practitioner orders.
• Provide health information to individual patients.
• Observe patients and complete focused assessments.
• Provide report to Registered Nurses with assessments, interventions and follow-up.
• Interact respectfully with patients and maintain appropriate boundaries.
• Complete admission/discharge forms within policy timelines.
